Michael Aram Thatch Bowl Collection - The Studio Collection represents a way of living – streamlined, timeless shapes … objects which reverberate with the skill of their maker and yet do not fit into a traditional interpretation of craft. The Thatch imagery was inspired by the beautiful randomness with which birds weave twigs into nests, and the poetic way that blades of grass float, gather, and scatter on the surface of water. Hand forged wire welded together to create a nest-like structure, finished in oxidized bronze.
